Athens chillwave/synthpop one-man show Brothertiger has had a relatively quick road to the top since his debut a few short years ago. Starting within the confines of the Ohio University campus, Brothertiger, the brainchild of John Jagos, has risen to national acclaim, being featured in a number of reputable blogs, as well as Chicago-based music review site Pitchfork.
Come this March, Jagos will graduate from Ohio University. Given his already bright future, even greater fanfare is likely not far behind.
In commemoration of Brothertiger's impact on the Athens music scene, ACRN would like to present our first episode of ACRN Presents, in which we talk to Brothertiger after a recent show. Enjoy the video, and enjoy the sweet electronic sounds of Mr. Jagos--after all, he may not be around here much longer.
As always, thanks for watching, and keep it locked to ACRN.com, where we hope to be rolling out more and more video content as the year goes on.
