Steadfast Music Festival returns to Columbus, Ohio on March 9, 2019 at Strongwater Food and Spirits. The festival includes a great lineup of indie bands.
Steadfast Festival began in 2016 as a way to honor and provide an amazing experience for the loyal fans of the Columbus music scene. The festival also doubles as a celebration of Tuned Up, the organizer of the event and a local music blog and podcast that gives a platform for Columbus artists to talk about their art. Tuned Up has an extensive library of reviews and concert coverage for artists in and out of Columbus, and its podcasts focus on Ohio artists like 90’s Kids and Sarob, who played at ACRN’s first show of the school year in September 2018.

The festival boasts an extensive lineup of musical acts, including Mike Mains and the Branches, SHAED, Captain Kidd, Label Me Lecter, Spirit of the Bear, Zoo Trippin’, Hello Luna, Whale Bones, Rymo and The Forty, whose guitar player, Joe Leppanen, is the host of the Tuned Up Podcast.
Steadfast doesn’t just represent the Columbus indie community, however. Faintheart of Kansas City and O.D.D.I.T.Y of Indianapolis joins the lineup with their first shows in Columbus among others in the lineup who hail from across the Midwest.
The festival’s pre-show opens on Friday, March 8 at the Donatos Basement at 2084 N High St. in Columbus. We Are The Movies, a pop-punk act who has performed at the Vans Warped Tour kickoff, will headline with Forever Unknown Band, Ultraviolet Pilot, The Castros and Paper Lung.
Doors for the Steadfast Music Festival are at 2:30 p.m. at Strongwater, 401 W. Town St. Tickets for Steadfast can be purchased early for $15 at PreKindle or at the door for $20. Tickets for the preshow can be purchased for $10 or are free with proof of a Steadfast ticket purchase.
Performance videos and media support will be provided by Nashville’s Ooko Studios and Mozy Media Co.
