The Nelsonville Music Festival and independent events promoter Archie Fox Live are hosting the first MELTED Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday.

The ‘60s-psychedelic-pop-themed festival will feature performances by Ty Segall & White Fence, Black Lips, Kikagaku Moyo, Deerhoof, Cherry Glazerr, Heron Oblivion, JJUUJJUU, Ma Holos, DANA and the Hongo Gonzo Liquid Light Show.
The 18-and-over event will take place at The Bluestone, a 19th century Baptist church turned live music venue located at 583 E. Broad St. Doors are set to open at 1 p.m., and performances will begin at 2 p.m. There will also be a record sale and food trucks on The Bluestone’s outdoor patio.
The festival will also be hosting a “Pre-Party” for the event that will feature performances by JJUUJJUU, Heaven’s Gateway Drugs, The Harlequins and DJ John Clift. The MELTED Pre-Party will be at Ace of Cups – 2619 N. High St – on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Advance tickets for MELTED are available online for $69 and will be sold at the door Sunday for $75. Pre-party tickets are available online for $10. Advance tickets for the festival can also be purchased in-person without fees at Columbus-based record stores Lost Weekend, Used Kids and Spoonful.
