March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait for the sun to shine all the time to enjoy some amazing local music.

West Virginia metal group Horseburner will join Columbus’s Akula and Lancaster’s Gudger for a night of heavy metal and power at The Union. More information here.

Athens folk duo Magnolia Child and musician-songwriter Caitlin Kraus will perform to benefit The American Music Therapy Association (AMTAS). More information here.

For two nights back to back of amazing music, come to the Smiling Skull. IID recently dropped a new single, and if your mouth waters for math rock, check out Burger Big and indie shoegaze dreamboat Dissolver. The Co Founder will make a highly anticipated stop at this venue to play songs off their newest album, Gymnasium. Water Witches’ mystical psych rock sound is sure to excite, and wholesome indie pop band Trying will also be in town.
