After a nearly six-year hiatus, the Jonas Brothers have finally decided to grace the world with their voices once again. The group announced their reunion Thursday morning and, at midnight of the next day, released a music video that shot to the top of YouTube’s trending page.

Despite the half-decade spent without collaborating, the JoBros don’t miss a beat. “Sucker”, the new single, is a sweet, victorious piece that serves as an amazing reminder of why they were such a big deal in the first place. It is perhaps the best introduction to their discography for those too young to remember.

According to their interview on SiriusXM Hits 1, Nick is the one responsible for sparking the brothers’ return to family collaboration.

“We started spending a lot of time together and we all kind of felt that there was a magic and there is a magic when we’re together that we missed,” Nick said in the interview. “We felt like we wanted to feel that magic again.”

The video for the new track features the brothers and their significant others, who, according to Nick, were excited to be included in the project. Even with the uproar from fans about the group’s return, Nick took the opportunity to redirect the attention to Priyanka, tweeting that his wife “is soooooo beautiful in this video!!!” For anyone who wasn’t following the group closely, it serves as an awesome expression of how far the trio has come from their Disney days.

For anyone craving more of the brothers’ lovable music, there’s more on the way. During their appearance on the Elvis Duran show on Friday, Joe said that the trio has “a lot of songs” recorded that they are excited to release in the coming months.

A few months is nothing compared to their previous hiatus, but if that is still too long to bear, don’t worry. The brothers will be appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden Monday through Thursday of next week.
