The EP consists of six tracks, including both an intro and a reprise. The band celebrated the release with a show in Columbus, their hometown.
“This collection of songs is a long time coming; lovingly bore while on the road earlier this year,” said the band. “We’ve put a ton of love & hard work into these tunes. Give them a listen, add them to your playlists, share them with everyone you know, and let us know which song is your favorite!”
In an interview with Columbus Alive, lead singer Liz Fisher and guitarist Corey Dickerson talked about the personal writing behind the now-finished product.
“For me, personally, it has taken several years, and it has taken this specific group of people we’re playing with now, for me to feel less emotionally guarded and also more willing to be open and forthcoming with my experiences through our music, as opposed to distancing myself and my own experiences from our music,” Fisher shared in the article.
The Cordial Sins are continuing their tour, heading toward the East Coast to play the remaining dates of their tour and promote their new music. Find more information and purchase tickets here.
