“So Heavy I Fell Through the Earth” is the second single off of Miss Anthropocene. The first single, called “Violence,” was released on October 31. “So Heavy I Fell Through the Earth,” however, comes in two forms, including an “Art Mix” and an “Algorithm Mix” of the song. The “Art Mix” is roughly six minutes long, while the “Algorithm Mix” is four minutes and essentially serves as a radio edit of the “Art Mix.”
Miss Anthropocene will be Grimes’ fifth studio album and will contain ten songs, according to Pitchfork. The album is a follow-up to 2018’s critically-acclaimed Art Angels and can be preordered here.
