Lucy Dacus released new song, “Kissing Lessons”, as well as an accompanying music video.

On Tuesday, she announced the debut of the single via Instagram. After releasing the song, she chatted with the music video’s director, Mara Palena, about the music video in a livestream on YouTube.

In 2016 Dacus released her debut solo album, No Burden, followed by Historian in 2018. In 2021, she released her latest album, Home Video, which received attention from publications such as Stereogum and Pitchfork.

Outside of her solo work, Dacus is a member of boygenius alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker. The trio released boygenius as a group in 2018 and reunited in November to play their first show together in three years.

Dacus is set to embark on tour starting next week following the 2021 release of her widely-popular album Home Video. Tickets for her tour can be purchased via her website.
