The artist lineup for Nelsonville Music Festival has been released.

Friday night will bring a headlining performance from Kurt Vile and The Violators followed by a Saturday set from Alex G. Indie rock band Big Thief will close the festival with a Sunday evening headlining set. Also set to perform are a number of artists including Alvvays, Lucinda Williams, who was scheduled to perform in 2022, Margo Price, and MJ Lenderman, one of the members of 2023 Lobsterfest headliner Wednesday.
The festival is slated to take place July 21 through 23 at Snow Fork Event Center in Ohio. Weekend passes are available to purchase for $169 each for adults. Weekend passes are $85 for teens (13 to 17 years old) and are free for children 12 and under. Festival attendees have the option to camp onsite at Snow Fork, also referred to as “Mudville,” or to park offsite. Passes for either option are available to purchase, and costs vary.
With well over a decade of past festivals, Nelsonville Music Festival has generated an impressive collection of previous performers. Artists like John Prine, They Might Be Giants, Ween, Wilco, Merle Haggard, The Flaming Lips, Courtney Barnett, Yo La Tengo, Todd Snider, Emmylou Harris, Conor Oberst, Mac DeMarco and Mavis Staples have played the event in past years.
Nelsonville Music Festival is an annual music festival held by Stuart’s Opera House. The festival benefits arts education in Southeastern Ohio, according to the Nelsonville Music Festival website.
