In the midst of a fierce internet spat between two shining women of rap, international princess Ice Spice has returned to give us another good single. “Think U The Shit (Fart)” is nothing shy of lyrically masterful and inspiring. 

In the song, Spice characterizes her viral superiority to all others, emphasized by her most recognizable ad-lib, “grrah”. Her playful wording is present of course, with lines like “Think you the sh*t? / B*tch, you not even the fart” and “Hard knock life, no Annie” (in reference to her signature fiery, formerly curly hair).

In all seriousness, I think “Think U The Shit (Fart)” characterizes the endearing qualities of Ms. Spice. Her sense of humor, genuine nature and charm are all present on this track, despite its brief run time at around two-and-a-half minutes. The beat is good, but slightly predictable, as it is reminiscent of some of her other music.
