The leaves are changing and the air is crisp, and that can only mean one thing. ACRN’s Halloween show is just around the corner. Join us for a free outdoor show this upcoming Friday, October 25! Stop by Scripps Amphitheater to see Zappers, Leghorn, FUTZ and The Talk Show Hosts. This show is being put on by our production director and his awesome production team, who will be running sound all night. To get you prepared for this upcoming show, here is a little bit about each band you can expect to see. 

Zappers is a five piece band from Athens consisting of Mairin, Mallory, Micah, Ted and Zach. Playing music all over the board, Zappers tends to lean more into prog rock/classic rock, while working on their own originals. This will be their first live performance, so do not miss their debut. 

Next up, we have Leghorn. A rock and roll band from Columbus, Ohio, made up of drummer Fritz Manuel, bassist Luke Garvine and guitarist/vocalist Matthew Hollis. Drawing upon influences in folk, cowpunk and power pop, the trio are striking out on their first shows out of town since their lineup solidified in late August. You do not want to miss these guys making their Athens debut.

Our third band Futz are local to Cleveland and Athens. These guys know how to bring the energy with their intense rock performances. You do not want to miss these guys because they will surely have you on your feet.

Lastly, The Talk Show Hosts will conclude our show. With high energy indie and rock bangers, you will find yourself singing along to some fun covers or dancing to catchy originals. They will end this night on a high. 

The show will start at 5 p.m. at Scripps Amphitheater. This is a FREE show and there will be face painting to help support your very own Rock Lobsters! Make sure to stop by to get your Halloween vibes up this Friday night and support some local bands and ACRN!
