Up-and-coming grunge trio HotWax recently released a new single and announced a debut album soon to follow.

Coming from Hastings, England, the band is just barely out of school and making the music scene their own from now on. The band is set to release their debut album Hot Shock on March 7 following their 2023 EP Invite Me, Kindly. As a teaser, the band released the single “She’s Got A Problem” along with the music video.

HotWax has quite a busy year yet to come. Currently on a tour with The Libertines, Warmduscher and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, the band has to juggle releasing new music and playing for crowds. Not only is the band playing a tour right now, but they also announced their tour for the upcoming Hot Shock album.

Although the band is considerably young, they are the next hope to keep the punk scene going. They cite the music of their parents such as Hole and The White Stripes as being of considerable influence on their own sound. Though the band was not around to see the scene in the ’90s, they’re here to bring it back for future generations to enjoy.
