Paris-based band Oracle Sisters released their newest track, “Blue Left Hand,” today. “Blue Left Hand” is inspired by the book Caliban and the Witch, which echoes similar themes of mysticism and divinity in their work. A music video directed by Jim Longden released alongside the single and is a part of their upcoming album Divinations, set to release on February 14.
Oracle Sisters previously dropped two other singles for the upcoming album including “Riverside” and “Alouette.” The band consists of members Julia Johansen, Chris Williat and Lewis Lazar, beginning touring in the U.K. and Europe this March.

After Oracle Sisters’ first album Hydranism released in 2023, the band set off on a North American tour and began the process for the next album. Recording all over the globe from Paris to Los Angeles, Oracle Sisters created one of their most experimental and diverse works to date. By drawing on different lyrical inspirations, they were able to take storytelling influences and turn them into their own introspective stories. As Lewis Lazar stated in a press release, “[The album] is about expressing our common humanity and taking it from there.”
Divinations, the Oracle Sister’s upcoming sophomore album is an 11-track LP named after how seemingly divine the songs came to them. Lazar continues, “For us, writing music feels like a strange divination and so it gives honor to that magic.” Their new track “Blue Left Hand” is just one piece of that magic.
