Accompanying the pre-save link on their website, the band wrote: “Things may get a bit strange (don’t worry if they do). Make sure she knows that you love her! Don’t expect a present every birthday.”
This single is the first release since the band’s 2023 live album Live at Bush Hall, which came out shortly after former frontman Isaac Wood announced his departure from the band. Previously, the group released their debut album For the First Time in 2021 followed by Ants From Up There in 2022.
Though a formal album announcement is yet to be announced, the group is certainly due for a full-length release. Currently, Black Country, New Road are scheduled to perform at Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City, Utah, and at Praia fluvial do Taboão in Paredes De Coura, Portugal.
