The release of this album marks a major turning point in Tucker’s career. Formerly known for his work in the indie rock duo GirlPool, Tucker takes a new approach to music with his solo career.
The single is described by Tom Breihan of Stereogum as a “stripped-down, emotive folk-rock record it is full of the emotions, questions, and curiosities of life.” Joined by friends and collaborators on Paw, the tracks become more personal as he journeys towards being true to his emotions.
