Descendents are reissuing their second album, I Don’t Want to Grow Up, 40 years after its original release. After regaining ownership of the album’s master recording, it is set to release on Nov. 25.
Initially released in 1985 under New Alliance Records, I Don’t Want to Grow Up cemented Descendents as an influential punk band as they managed to avoid the typical sophomore slump.

This is the second album rereleased as part of Org Music’s ongoing reissuing campaign for Descendents, which began with their album Milo Goes to College.
With this campaign, Org Music sets out to preserve the integrity and intent behind music and carry on its legacy. The reissue will be released in multiple variants, some widely available as well as several exclusives. Org Music’s reissue campaign is set to continue with more of Descendents’ albums.
