LA-based indie rock artist, Blondshell, has announced a companion album to her prior release: If You Asked for a Picture, accompanied with a new single release on October 8. The companion album, Another Picture, is set to be released on November 14th. It will reimagine and expand on the previous record, including new songs from Blondshell as well as covers from other artists and friends of Blondshell. Some artists to look forward to hearing include Conor Oberst, Samia, Folk Bitch Trio, John Glacier and Gigi Perez.

Gigi Perez and Blondshell released their single from the album, “Arms.” This track features a powerful reimagined version of the song from the previous album under the same name, turning the track on its head and swapping out the heavy electric guitars for bright acoustics while allowing the track to breathe with harmonies from both Gigi and Blondshell. This recreation takes the story of a song to new levels that emphasize the themes over the production.

If You Asked for a Picture was released in May of 2025 to critical praise. The album has been placed on many best of 2025 (so far) lists from Billboard, Rolling Stone, NME, Consequence, FLOOD Magazine, among others. The album’s individual tracks have made similar traction, like “T&A” being on Billboard’s 50 Best Songs of 2025.
Blondshell has completed a summer of sold-out shows and festivals on tour across the world, including the US, UK and the EU; however, she is embarking on a small tour later this year, beginning on November 10 in Phoenix, AZ and ending on November 22 in Cleveland, OH. This tour will feature support from she’s green, Colatura, and The Sonder Bombs. Blondshell will also be touring Australia and will have her Coachella debut in 2026.
