“I Linger On” was co-written and produced by canteenkilla, who tried to create a fresh sound that would stand the test of time. Skinner notes, “my collaborators and community and family hold me to my word. They hold me to my work.” This track follows his debut single for Ninja Tune, “RECALLING,” a song centered around not holding yourself to a fictitious version of life that does not align with you.

Elliot Skinner has garnered acclaim and acknowledgement alongside several accomplished artists such as Leon Bridges, Pusha T, Hiatus Kaiyote, Chance the Rapper and others. Fans should be on the lookout for more content from Skinner in the coming months, including an announcement of his debut solo album, set to release in 2026.
