Country musician Tyler Childers has announced a run of tour dates in Europe and the United States. These tour dates come in the wake of Childers’ recent announcement of a new album titled Rustin’ in the Rain. The album is scheduled to be released Friday.

Childers released the debut single from the forthcoming album “In Your Love” in late July of this year. Rustin’ in the Rain will feature artists including Margo Price, S.G. Goodman, Erin Rae and The Travelin’ McCourys.

His sixth album follows an already experimental and diverse discography. Childers released his debut album Bottles and Bibles in 2011. In 2017, he released his breakout sophomore album Purgatory, followed two years after by Country Squire, both of which were widely acclaimed.

2020 welcomed a much different project for Childers: his fourth full length album Long Violent History, an instrumental project. In 2022, Childers took another left turn with Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven?, a massive LP in which he opted to record eight tracks three times each with different variations.

Childers’ upcoming tour in support of his sixth record will make a number of stops in Europe and the United Kingdom before returning to the United States for the second leg of a limited run of performances. In late April of next year, Childers will perform in California, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Maryland and New York to round out the Mule Pull ‘24 tour.
