Post-punk band Candy Coffins will release their debut record, Once Do It With Feeling on October 21. This is their latest full-length effort following their 2020 EP Somehow Misplaced.
The South Carolina collective released two leading singles earlier this year in anticipation for the album entitled, “Everyday a Fresh Atrocity” and “Seaside Girls.” The record tastefully nods to the gothic tendencies from the likes of Joy Division and The Cure.

Providing insight into record’s narrative, frontman Jame Lathren stated, “The full album chronicles a relationship from the onset of the first crack to its complete crumbling dissolution,” he said in a press release.
“All the feelings and emotions of tumult are captured here, from both persons’ perspectives.”
Candy Coffins formed after the disassembly of Lathren’s previous band, Crown The Cake, now focusing more on lush instrumentation rather than the former’s more rough and abrasive sound.
